The Safe and Sound initiative spearheaded by Individuals Making Positive Active Change Together (I.M.P.A.C.T) champions holistic, community-driven solutions that tackle the deep-rooted causes of violence, transforming our neighborhoods from within. We empower change through dynamic afterschool programs and mentorship opportunities, forge pathways to education and economic success, and offer compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care. By engaging credible messengers and violence interrupters, and fostering genuine trust between law enforcement and community members, we create a united front that addresses violence at its core and builds a foundation for lasting peace and resilience.

Our mission is to provide holistic strategies, tools, resources, support, and education for individuals to identify, address, and mitigate the root causes of community, familial, and individual distress and trauma. Through this approach, we aim to foster healing, resilience, and empowerment, helping individuals and communities thrive and break cycles of harm.
